'Soccer Specific Fitness Training | improve your aerobic capacity and endurance'

'In today’s video, we’ll show you a soccer specific circuit that will help improve your aerobic capacity and endurance.   Equipment needed:  hurdles, poles, agility ladder, two small goals, and cones.   Circuit Execution: The circuit starts with coordination work using hurdles followed directly by a 10-15 yard recovery zone (slow jog). Next grab a placed ball and enter the dribbling station. The poles or cone should be placed 3 yards apart in a zigzag pattern. Once you get past the last pole, you\'ll want to firmly pass the ball into a mini net and jog to the next placed ball. From here we\'ll enter our second recovery zone (juggle the ball). Next is the coordination agility station using a ladder, followed by a 5 yard sprint, then another 5-10 yard recovery zone (slow jog). Our final station will be an agility dribbling station using 6 - 8 cones placed in a straight line.  Once you dribble past the last cone, you’ll firmly pass the ball into a mini net again and enter the fourth and final recovery zone to conclude the repetition. Take a slow jog to the start point and repeat the circuit again.   Workload: Goal is to complete 3-4 full sets. One full set is equal to four continuous repetitions around our circuit. So basically 4 times around the circuit equals one full set, and we need to complete between 3-4 sets depending on fitness levels. In between each set you should take a 2 minute break. If you need additional rest, you can also take 15-30 second breaks in between individual repetitions.
